AbdulSalam Fawaz Kehinde, a 22 years old has been declared wanted by the osun state police command has after he failed to appear for his arraignment over homosexual activities scheduled to take place at the Osun State high Court at oke-fia, in osogbo, Osun State capital.

“The public is hereby notified that, AbdulSalam Fawaz Kehinde, who was born in Osogbo, in Osogbo Local government area of osun state Nigeria, is wanted by the osun State Police Command with alleged case of homosexual activities”.

This was contained in a statement released yesterday 22nd of July, 2023 by the police at the command headquarters in osogbo the osun State capital.

According to the command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola told our reporter that his crime partner Tunde Oshin Kayode (Male) is in their custody while Fawaz Kehinde has ran away.

AbdulSalam Fawaz Kehinde who was said to have involved in homosexual activities was caught in the act, and beaten by members of the community in which the incident occured was born in Osogbo, Osogbo Local government area of osun state Nigeria.

AbdulSalam Fawaz Kehinde, who was caught at Okefia area in Osogbo, osun State capital on July 17th, 2023 after the close hour from where he works as administrative officer in the Ministry of commerce, Osun State Government secretary Abere, later realized that sex between two same sex partners is a taboo and a crime in Nigeria since 2014.

“Recall in 2014, the president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, signed into law the Sex Marriage Prohibition Act 2014” which provides jail terms of 10 years for homosexuals and also punishes who register, operate or participate in same sex clubs, societies and organizations, or directly makes a public show of same sex relationships in Nigeria”.

“The Osun State Police Command has assured the public that they are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for a thorough investigation into the case”.
